• April 23, 2008 - Thank you to all those who made Joint Council's 2008 Medical Institute & Conference a resounding success! Our 2008 Conference was an exceptional experience for all attendees and your participation is much appreciated.

• March 6, 2008 - Joint Council has received the wonderful news that as of April 1st, the Holiday Inn on the Hill will be called the Liaison Capitol Hill, An Affinia Hotel. This change will NOT affect standing reservations, nor did it alter the process for making a hotel reservation within the now-full Joint Council room block. In addition, there are no changes to the 415 New Jersey Avenue NW address associated with the hotel. For more information, please visit our Hotel & Travel Information page.

• March 5, 2008 - Joint Council has received word that our Conference hotel is completely full for the dates of our event, both within and outside of the Joint Council room block. For more information, please visit our Hotel & Travel Information page.

• March 5, 2008 - Joint Council is pleased to announce that the candidate slate for the 2008-2011 Board of Directors and information regarding a proposed Bylaw change are now available on the Member's Only site. Member organizations who are not able to attend the 2008 Conference in Washington, DC are eligible to vote for the Board of Directors and the proposed bylaw change via absentee ballot. • February 15, 2008 - Joint Council is pleased to announce that the Conference Welcome Reception will be held in the Hart Senate Building on Capitol Hill. We will be issuing invitations to Members of Congress for this exciting event, which is open to all conference attendees. Please note the change of location and later start time (6 p.m.) to allow walking time for participants. Directions will be provided at the Joint Council registration table and hotel front desk.

• December 5, 2007 - Joint Council is pleased to announce our Keynote speakers for the 2008 Medical Institute and Conference: Victoria J. Kelly, Director of Clinical and Prevention Services at Children and Families First, as well as Ambassador Janice Jacobs, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of State. • December 3, 2007 - In an effort to help our environment, Joint Council will be reducing the number of handouts distributed during our 2008 event. Joint Council will be posting certain conference documents, notably speaker handouts, on our Conference website exclusively. Please check back often for more information about our "Going Green" Initiative.
