CE Information

If you wish to receive CE credits, please complete and sign the August CE Evaluation Form, then return it to the Joint Council Office (not PER) by September 14, 2009. Please note that CE Evaluation Forms will be e-mailed prior to the first webinar for only those participants who paid the $25 CE processing fee. If you would like the file resent or wish to sign up now for credits, please email webinar@jcics.org. All materials received will be sent to PER on September 14, 2009.

Joint Council—in co-sponsorship with PsychoEducational Resources (PER)—will be offering up to 4.00 Continuing Education (CE) credits to qualifying attendees who register for the August 2009 Webinar Series.  Credits are based on the number of Webinars attended, as each session is eligible for one hour of credit. Please read all of the bullet points below for important information pertaining to CEs.

·         Please note that in 2009, Joint Council is unable to offer CEs for psychologists.

·         If you have any questions regarding your qualifications for CE credits, please contact PER at 800-892-9249 or support@per-ce.net.

You will need to follow the following three steps:

1.      Confirm you are eligible to receive CEs: PER has issued a Continuing Education Statement that lists the states and programs through which it offers credits.  It is very important that all CE applicants read this document before paying for CEs to confirm eligibility.

2.       Sign up for CEs during Webinar registration: signing up for CEs is as simple as selecting the relevant box on your Webinar Registration Form and including the corresponding $25 fee with your registration payment. The $25 fee is a flat rate per attendee, regardless of the number of CE credits you receive. Additional fee information can be found on our Webinar Registration Form.

3.      Complete the CE evaluation form for sessions you attended in their entirety and send it to the Joint Council office: an evaluation form will be sent via email to those attendees who have requested and paid for CEs; this form should be sent to the Joint Council office, NOT directly to PER. Participants will only receive credits for sessions they have attended in their entirety.

Your CE certificates/letter will be mailed directly to you from PsychoEducational Resources, Inc. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing of the certificate/letter, which will be sent to the address indicated on your evaluation form.

·         CE fees will be reimbursed for registrants, provided they are in keeping with the cancellation policy at the bottom of this page.

·         The attached CE Additional Information Form includes the following:

      -   Event schedule
-   Workshop descriptions and specific learning objectives
-   Target audience and targeted practice categories (e.g., entry level, intermediate or advanced level)
-   Instructor credentials;
-   Number of CE credits offered for each activity.

·         Please contact Joint Council, with any special needs, questions or concerns. This includes any disability that prevents you from using the Webinar in its current format. You can reach a Joint Council staff member at webinar@jcics.org or (703) 535-8045.

Cancellation Policy:

In general, Joint Council is unable to issue refunds.  However, we will take requests via email on a case-by-case basis.  To request a refund please contact Joint Council at webinar@jcics.org

*Any attendees who feel they have not received communication in the appropriate timeframe should contact Joint Council at (703) 535-8045.
